Human Resources/Marketing Intern – Park National Bank

NOTE: The schedule for this position is flexible, and the Client is willing to work around classes, within reason. 

The Human Resources/Marketing Intern will provide support for the affiliate-level Human Resources & Marketing functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources

  • Involved in new associate orientation (review benefits, discuss bank history and service excellence, fingerprint new hires, obtain required paperwork and follow procedures for proper storage)
  • Support the Training Committee in the management of internal classes, distribution of course evaluations, and training recognition program
  • Support the coordination and planning of associate functions, such as the monthly all associate meeting, training recognition breakfast, new associate quarterly lunches, and other employee events
  • Assist with timekeeping and incentive processing (i.e. collect documents, complete spreadsheet, pull reports, send out communications as necessary)
  • Assist associates with basis benefit questions
  • Other duties as assigned

Marketing

  • Contribute to written communications projects, such as newsletters, email communications and social media posts
  • Assist with the production, organization, recording and distribution of various marketing and communication pieces
  • Organize and maintain marketing files, event documentation, and advertising tear sheets
  • Assist with internal and community events including planning, setup and participation along with maintaining the community events calendar
  • Assist with implementation of PSW Social Media Strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Web-based programs, including Kronos HRIS, ITI, credit bureau, SharePoint and others
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher), Adobe Creative Suite
  • Multi-line telephone, printer, copier, fax, scanner, and other general office equipment
